There are several national sports organisations representing types of disability, for example learning difficulties or visual impairments.
There are also many organisations and groups dedicated to a particular sport or are part of the main organisation.
For example, the British Tennis Foundation has a responsibility to manage a programme of tennis for disabled people.
As well as regional contact lists, organisations give support and information on equipment, coaching education, award schemes, events and development of the relevant sport.
