New online service for disabled travellers

PEOPLE with disabilities are to benefit from a new online tourism service that will provide detailed access information on holiday and leisure venues.

Tourism for All UK and DisabledGo have teamed up to launch the new website, which will contain access details of more than 50,000 inspected venues.

OpenBritain, launched in July 2009, aims to become a one stop shop for all those with access needs, providing a wide range of information and contact resources together with developing social networking and supporting communications between users and providers.
