parkyMAINSIR Michael Parkinson was caught and bowled for a duck when he visited the Lord’s Taverners Disability Cricket Championships Finals at the Kia Oval.

Sir Michael, the charity’s new president, said: “As a great cricket fan it is always splendid to come to the Kia Oval and watch any form of cricket.

“I’m incredibly proud to become president of this wonderful organisation and the Disability Cricket Championships is the first of many programmes I hope to experience during my presidency.”
