PolioMAINCHILDREN have until the end of the month to enter the British Polio Fellowship’s ‘Sowing the Seeds of Hope’ colouring competition, which raises awareness of Post Polio Syndrome.

The charity’s chief executive, Ted Hill, says: “Many people believe that polio is a thing of the past, but with approximately 120,000 people suffering from PPS, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

“The charity is already working hard to spread the PPS message to the general public and this colouring competition is about spreading the PPS message to an even younger audience so that the next generation grows up aware of the polio legacy.”
